Nikki O’Donnell promoted to Divisional Director
Congratulations to Nikki O’Donnell, who has been promoted to the position of Divisional Director – Biodiversity.
In her new role, Nikki will be responsible for leading our ecology, offsets, GIS and specialist impact assessment teams in providing our clients with the technical expertise and commercially-minded pragmatic advice needed to successfully deliver projects.
Nikki joined Attexo six years ago when it first started as a specialist advisory firm supporting the renewables transition in Queensland. Since then, she has helped to grow the business into a team of more than 40 specialists from diverse technical backgrounds, with a broad range of clients from the energy, resources and infrastructure sectors across multiple geographies.
Nikki has more than 25 years’ experience in environmental consulting in Australia and internationally, specialising in biodiversity and impact assessment. She has worked in renewables, oil and gas, mining, water and transport infrastructure projects, both onshore and offshore. Nikki has worked extensively to International Finance Corporation Performance Standards and the Equator Principles, across the Asia Pacific region, Australia, Africa, Continental Europe and the Caspian.
Nikki is a member of the Environment Institute of Australia and New Zealand (EIANZ) and the International Association of Impact Assessment (IAIA). She is a Certified Environmental Practitioner, Impact Assessment specialist (CEnvP no. 592, IA10011).
As a member of the Attexo leadership team, Nikki will work alongside Managing Partner Chris Cantwell, and our new Divisional Director – Environmental Assessment, Planning and Approvals Steven Tarte to steer the business through its next chapter.
